Big Gig 2017 is a celebration of live entertainment across our region that’s totally local and totally live, all raising funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity.

We're looking for bands, promoters, singers, orchestras, entertainers, rappers, DJs, choirs and music enthusiasts of all kinds to join the fundraiser that hits all the right notes!

You can host your own music event, quiz night or even comedy night to raise funds for our patients at school or college, at work, or down at your local pub. Or, if you're already staging an event, why not hold a Big Gig collection at your venue?

However you'd like to get involved, we'd love you to join our celebration of live entertainment to help us do more for our sick kids.

Anyone at all! There really are so many ways you can be part of Big Gig!
How can I get involved?

There are many ways for our supporters to get involved with Big Gig 2017. If you're someone with a musical side then you can put your talents to good use by staging an event to raise money. Whether you're part of a band, a DJ, a choir, an orchestra, a rapper, comedian, quiz master, hold a karaoke night or anyone who loves live entertainment, you can hold an event and raise money by charging people to attend and holding collections on the night. If you run a venue or a pub then you could stage an event and invite your favourite acts to play or have our buckets on the door?

If you've already got an event planned, you can still take part in Big Gig – you could donate some of the profits to the event, or hold a collection at the event. Let us know you'd like to join in and we'll send out some materials to help you on your way!

How will the money I raise help Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity?
By staging an event and raising money for Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity you'll be improving the hospital experience of every child who visits the hospital, whether it's for a short stay, a visit to the emergency department or for a patient who needs to stay for longer term treatment. Your donations go so far in making our hospital the best it can possibly be, making the whole hospital feel warm, welcoming and child friendly, allowing our experts to conduct ground breaking research and giving our patients the happiest hospital experience we can.
I want to take part, what do I do next?
The first thing to do is to register your event through this website! This will allow one of our fundraisers to contact you to discuss your fundraising and support you in any way we can. We can also provide you with our 'How to put on a gig' guide, and fundraising materials.
